The Audiologist will be responsible for administering complete audiological evaluations and hearing aid services for all age groups. Performing diagnostic testing, such as: audiograms, OAE, ABR and VNG testing. Perform hearing aide selection, fitting and troubleshooting.

Masters degree or AuD in Audiology as well as being licensed in the State of Illinois. One to three years of clinical experience is preferred.

Set up, operates and maintains various types of cardiopulmonary equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiopulmonary disease, acute pulmonary illness or metabolic disorders.

High school diploma or GED equivalent.  CRT or RRT by NBRC.  License from State of Illinois.  Prefer previous cardiopulmonary experience.  BLS required.  ACLS, PALS, and NRP encouraged.  Recertify BLS as required.

Transports patients admitted for Surgical or Special Procedures from the following:  Med/Surg to OR, SDS to Special Procedures, Special Procedures to Recovery, Recovery to SDS, and Recovery to Med/Surg or ICU.  Assures all hard copy surgical forms and documentations are identified by placing permanent stickers on forms.  Assists with transporting patients by wheelchair for discharge.  Assists with vital signs and other tasks as needed, i.e. cleaning SDS and Special Procedures.

Needs to be a High school graduate or GED equivalent.  Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred.  Requires Certified Nurse Assistant and current CPR certification.  Also requires working knowledge of medical terminology, experience with computers and current CPR certification.

Mops floors, corridors, and stairwells.  Strips old floor finish and applies new floor finish as needed.  Burnish floors, wet extracts floor mats and carpets.  Cleans equipment and checks/refills water level in battery-operated equipment.  Cleans used floor pads.  Assists with room set-ups, soiled linen and waste collection and patient room cleaning as assigned.  Assists with spill clean-ups and relocation of furniture.

High School Diploma or GED preferred.  Must have good reading and writing skills.  Previous floor care experience in a health care facility would be beneficial.  Floor maintenance certification optional.

Cleans and maintains hospital in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition, according to established procedures.  This includes disposing of trash, medical waste, and soiled linens, as well as dusting high vents, TV’s, cabinets, and other furnishings.  It also includes cleaning and polishing mirrors, glass, and stainless steel, as well as mopping floors and stairs and vacuuming.  The environmental aide also replaces soiled shower or cubicle curtains, cleans elevators, water fountains and coke machines.  They also spot clean walls, doors and windows as needed.

High School Diploma or GED preferred.  Must have good reading and writing skills and capable of following oral/written instructions.  Previous housekeeping experience in a health care facility would be beneficial.  Housekeeping certification is optional.

Medical Assistant’s will work closely with the RN or LPN in answering telephones, checking messages, cleaning up exam rooms, draw blood for laboratory test and be familiar with CLIA wave testing. Medical Assistants should be familiar with charting, filing, and knowing HIPAA guidelines. A Medical Assistant will also be trained to work at the front office if needed. The responsibility includes receiving patients at the front desk and interviewing the patient for correct demographics and insurance information for registration. You will enter all information into the computer system and make sure an insurance card and demographics are updated on the patient’s chart. Schedule appointments, review A/R balance in the billing system and post to the patient’s super-bill prior to patient appointment. Attach super-bill with balance due and co-payment information posted. Collect co-payments or any other money owed on previous balances the patient would like to pay.
