The Medical Assistant-Scribe will work closely with the RN or LPN in answering telephones, checking messages, cleaning up exam rooms, draw blood for laboratory tests. Responsible for assisting with making reminder phone calls to patients and running the “Unverified Encounters List” at the end of the shift; completing all unverified encounters.  Prepares the EMR chart by searching for and opening each appropriate area of the chart for the physician to review prior to the patient encounter. In real time during the patient visit, opens the appropriate EMR templates and transcribe the physician’s medical dictations of the patient clinic visit.  In addition, responsible for transcribing the physician’s problem list and diagnosis into the EMR; enter medication order and diagnostic orders based on physician’s recommendations in the EMR for physician to review and sign. Transcribes physicians exam and finding in the EMR for physicians to review and sign.  At the physician request, documents all appropriate information for appropriate referral in the EMR.  Reviews and corrects overdue orders and tasks with the appropriate staff.

Clinic Radiology Technician-7345

Primary Duties: To administer ionizing radiation to patients producing diagnostic radiographs which assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Responsible for x-ray quality, maintaining repeat and reject analyzes, and fluoroscope of lead apron used in the clinic setting.  Has to be knowledgeable about insurance, pre-certifying patients for diagnostic test or therapies, surgeries procedures, and/or referrals to another provider. Ultrasound Technologist- 7373

Department: Sonography

Primary Duties:The Ultrasound Technologist uses high frequency sound waves to perform scans of particular organs or vessels to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.  The technologist prepares the room and equipment, utilizes accepted settings to capture the images, and evaluates the images for diagnostic qualities.  The Ultrasound Technologist needs to assist with invasive procedures utilizing the guidance of ultrasound.  The Ultrasound Technologist also takes call, orders supplies, works the office, and transports patients.  The Ultrasound Technologist assists in scheduling the patients and explains the procedure being performed.

Qualifications:Associates Degree in a medical field required.  Prefer previous medical background and experience in ultrasound.  Registered ultrasound technologist preferred.

Valet Parker/Greeter- 7399

Primary Duties:Greets patients and visitors at the main entrance (lower lobby.  Parks and retrieves vehicles in a safe, efficient manner.  Assists with loading and unloading packages, provides directions to hospital departments, and provides information and assistance for visitors and staff.

Qualifications:High school graduate or GED equivalent with basic clerical skills. Must be over 18 years old. Must possess good driving record for insurance purposes and have a valid drivers license.
