Dr. Mitchell is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who earned his medical degree at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a four-year residency in orthopedic surgery at Midwestern University–Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine that included work at Chicago’s Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Weiss Memorial Hospital and University of Chicago Hospital as well as at Little Company of Mary Hospital and Columbia Olympia Fields Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Mitchell is an Illinois Valley native and a graduate of LaSalle-Peru High School. Before entering medical school, his graduated cum laude from St. Norbert College in Wisconsin.
