Receives, registers and obtains information from patients or their representatives for registration of all outpatient, inpatient and emergency services at the hospital. Informs patient of hospital policy and procedures. Must promote a positive and cooperative work environment by communicating problems and work flow issues with supervisors and handles conflict in an appropriate manner.
High school graduate or GED equivalent. Previous experience in hospital setting or working with the general public preferred. Must complete CPR certification within 3 months of hire and maintain certification throughout employment.
