Tim Muntz
President & CEO

Tim Muntz joined St. Margaret’s Health in 1984, as Chief Financial Officer. In 1993, he was appointed to the President & CEO role. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Loras College, and then earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Lewis University, in 1996. Tim and his wife, Cindy, reside in Spring Valley. They are the parents of four children and they have eleven grandchildren.

Linda Burt
Vice President of Quality & Community Services

Linda Burt began her career with St. Margaret’s Health in 1978, joining the Administrative Team in 1994. She graduated from IVCC with an Associate Degree in Nursing, Bradley University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and Northern Illinois University with a Master of Science in Nursing. Linda and her husband, J., reside in Spring Valley. They are the parents of three children and have three grandchildren.

Karen Gress
Vice President of Ancillary & Support Services

Karen Gress began her career with St. Margaret’s Health in 1981, joining the Administrative Team in 1994. Karen graduated from Marycrest College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and from Northern Illinois University with a Master of Science in Nursing. Karen and her husband, Rich, are the parents of four children and have seven grandchildren.

Lisa Lynch
Vice President of Finance

Lisa Lynch began her career at St. Margaret’s Health in 2021 as Assistant Vice President of Finance joining the administrative team in 2022. She graduated from Augustana College with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Business Administration-Finance and Ohio University with a Master in Health Administration. Lisa and her husband, Mike, reside in Peru. They are parents of one child.

Mary Vega
Vice President of Nursing

Mary Vega joined St. Margaret’s Health in 2007, as Vice President of Nursing. Mary graduated from St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing in Joliet with a Diploma in Nursing. She earned a Bachelor of Nursing from Olivet Nazarene University, and a Master of Nursing from Northern Illinois University. Mary and her partner, Christopher Sherman, reside in rural Ottawa. She is the mother of one child.
