Charge information may be beneficial to patients who are comparing different healthcare organizations.
However, it is important to realize that charges vary from hospital to hospital and have different items within the charge itself. An example is a colonoscopy. Colonoscopy will have a charge, yet if the physician also removes polyps while performing the procedure, the charge for the colonoscopy will change to include that additional service. Therefore, it is important to remember that there are many things that can influence a standard charge that may be added later because of the patient’s needs during a procedure or service. Additionally, when using our Price Transparency tool, it is important to note that these may not be the amounts you will owe because these do not include any amounts covered by your insurer.

If your insurer is one that is willing to share their payment structure with us, we can help estimate your out-of-pocket costs. We can also assist you with setting up payment plans, applying for Medicaid or Expanded Medicaid if you qualify, or determining if you are a candidate for our Financial Assistance Program which assists those who are unable to pay their medical bills.
Note that prices for pharmaceuticals are based on average wholesale price (AWP). AWP is based on an average of the price paid by pharmacies to purchase the drug from wholesalers (which can vary based on the contracts each pharmacy/pharmacy chain has with each wholesaler). As AWP changes, our prices will change and this price list may not reflect the latest price.
