Alison Theisinger
About
Alison has been a physical therapist at IVCH/St. Margaret’s Health-Peru since January 2013. She received her undergraduate degree in athletic training from the University of Northern Iowa in May 2010. Alison then completed her graduate work and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from St. Ambrose in December 2012. Through her clinical and work experiences, she has treated patients with a variety of diagnoses within the areas of orthopedics, sports medicine, vestibular, pediatrics, and neuro at various hospitals and clinics in Iowa and Illinois. At St. Margaret’s, she specializes in serving patients with vestibular needs, including dizziness, imbalance, and vertigo. She has received training in this area through the University of Pittsburgh and Midwestern University.
Alison is originally from Algona, Iowa, where she attended Bishop Garrigan High School. She relocated to Peru to pursue her current position with St. Margaret’s. She has been married to her husband Clay since 2014, and together they have two children and two dogs. She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, running, and taking walks with her dogs and family.
