Kersten Kidd
About
Kersten is a Licensed and Certified Speech-Language Pathologist and has been working for IVCH/St. Margaret’s Health-Peru since 2020. She attended Eastern Illinois University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences in 2017 and her Master of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2019. Following graduation from EIU, Kersten worked at a school in northern Illinois before joining the team at St. Margaret’s Health – Peru. She has clinical experience with individuals across the lifespan treating different speech and language diagnoses, including developmental delays and disorders, language impairment, cognitive impairment, stroke, and traumatic brain injury. She also has experience completing video-fluoroscopic swallow studies to diagnose and provide recommendations for impairments in swallowing.
Kersten is from the northern Illinois area and is now a resident of the Illinois Valley. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading and spending time outdoors with her dog.
