Dr. Sharma was born and raised in Canada, but has called Illinois his home since 2012, when he started his rotations and residency. He lives in Peru and looks forward to getting to know the Illinois Valley area, with his wife, Gagan – whom he calls his rock – and their new puppy, a trouble-making Maltese-Yorkie mix named Micro. In his spare time, Dr. Sharma enjoys teaching, weight-training, watching Netflix, eating and traveling.
