Making BIG Impacts on Small Patients

As a parent, you want the best for your child. When it comes to the health of your child, that means you want the best quality care possible. At St. Margaret’s Health, we have several pediatricians and family physicians who are available to treat children of all ages.

Whether your child has a minor illness or needs a physical or routine checkup, we are here to help. Should a health problem with your child be serious or require an even higher level of care, our physicians will help arrange for more specialized pediatric health care at a children’s hospital.

Pediatrics or Family Medicine?

The Choice is Yours and What's Right for Your Family

Pediatrician:

A pediatrician is a physician who sees and treats young patients, including newborns, children, adolescents and young adults. A pediatrician provides primary care, including well-baby and well-child checkups, diagnosing and treating minor illnesses and injuries, and more.

Family Physicians:

A family physician is a medical provider that cares for patients of any age, including individuals or families. Like a pediatrician, a family physician is trained to provide health care services to newborns, children, adolescents and young adults, but they also have additional training in care for adults, including women’s health.

Regardless of which type of physician you choose, your physician will play a vital role in the health and wellbeing of your child. Either way, at St. Margaret's your child's care is in good hands.
