About
Kim is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant who joined the IVCH/St. Margaret’s Health therapy team in May of 2009. She attended Illinois Central College, where she received her Associates in Applied Science degree in 2009 as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Kim holds a certificate in aquatic therapy from the Aquatic Therapy and Rehabilitation Institute, Inc. and has more than 12 years’ experience and over 80 hours of continuing education in Aquatic therapy, including orthopedics, balance training, Bad Ragaz, Core stabilization and general strengthening. As a land therapist, her primary focus is in treating orthopedic diagnosis such as back, shoulder, hip and knee. She also assists with the Industrial Rehabilitation program.
Kim is a lifelong resident of the Illinois Valley. In her spare time, she enjoys working outdoors in her yard. She also enjoys learning about natural ways of living, health and healing the body holistically. She has a soft heart for all animals but specifically enjoys spending time and taking care of her cats.
