St. Margaret’s is pleased to announce that the Illinois Department of Public Health recently granted “Occupancy” to the second phase of the Emergency Room construction project. The project, which began in May 2015, consisted of two phases that renovated the existing department and created an additional 4,200 square feet, ultimately doubling the size of the previous department. This created new exam rooms with updated fixtures and equipment, support areas, a much larger waiting room, a Results Pending Area, a Family Consultation Room, a new egress corridor, and much more. St. Margaret’s is excited about offering a better experience for our patients and their families when they visit the Emergency Room.
